Absence and Leave
No leave of absence will be granted except for very serious reasons. Application for leave must be signed by the Parents and addressed to the Principal.
1. Continued absence from the school without permission for ten consecutive days will be considered as withdrawal of
the student and the name shall be struck off the rolls.
2. If a student fails to appear at any test/examination he/she will be considered as having failed in that test/examination.
No retest/ re-exam will be conducted. If the absence is due to serious illness as to prevent the students from appearing in the examination and supported by a proper medical certificate,
the Principal may at her discretion allow a rebate of marks for the purpose of promotion, but the student will not be ranked.
3. A minimum of 75% of the total attendance of the academic session would be necessary to appear at the final examination. Shortage of attendance up to 15% may be condoned in case
of serious illness; Parents have to attach a medical certificate attested by a medical practitioner along with the leave of absence application.
