The procedure followed is as under:
#) A pupil who has not attended any school ever, or one who has come from a private school, must produce an official Birth certificate such as a municipal or Baptismal certificate. In case of ward of Defense personnel or Defense civilians, a document in support of the date of Birth, should be attached to the admission form.
#) A pupil who has attended a recognized school cannot be admitted without a transfer certificate from the school last attended. The certificate must be countersigned by the Inspector of the school / DEO from where the student comes except in the case of school affiliated to CBSE. A child should be 3 years of age as on Mar 31 to be admitted to LKG. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for subsequent standards.
#) In case of mid term admission of a student, fee from the beginning of first terms would be charged unless the fee for the period before admission has been paid to some other recognized school and proof thereof produced. However fee for the month in which admission is granted and subsequent months will be charged irrespective of the fee paid for these months in the previous school.
#) Admission of a child is only the basis of his/her performance in the admission tests conducted. The admissions will be only on availability of seats in the class for which it is sought.
PTA & PTM
#) Parent - teacher meetings are held periodically to apprise the parents of wards' performance. The parent of the students of board classes X and XII are specially called for a one to one interaction with the teachers after every term examination. #) An exclusive meeting with the parents of the slow- learners is held from time to time to discus the areas in which their wards need to improve in and to help them come up to the desired class level, Teachers are paying special attention to slow-learner students, higher difficulty level questions are given to the gifted children from time-to-time.
Steps taken to improve board results
#) Personal attention to the below average students. #) Questions from sample papers and previous year's papers are given regularly in the class. After proper discussion of answer, students are asked to write and learn the answers. #) Extra questions are given to the children for practice. #) Different Reference books are used to give more ideasof different types of questions that can be asked in the board Examination. #) Counseling is done. #) Doubts are solved individually, daily.
The payment is to be made by cheque in favour of "OIC AF SCHOOL JAMNAGAR" (A/C PAYEE).
Child's name, Class, Section and Father's name, Category (revised) and Contact No. is to be written on the reverse of the cheque.
The total amount is inclusive of refundable caution money Rs. 1000 & Rs. 2000/- for defence & Pure civilians categories respectively.
Please note that the Fee cheque must be a MICR cheque bearing Nine digit code No. printed at the bottom of the cheque.
